Spring Registration Step-by-Step
The first step is to ensure you are within Canal Little League boundaries (map is below). If you are new to Canal Little League and league age 8-16, you can only register if you live within the boundaries, or if your player goes to school within Canal Little League boundaries. Returning players who played the prior year's spring season remain eligible to play at Canal Little League even if you moved out of the boundary line; however, you will still be required to provide updated documentation at one of the Document Checks.
To confirm your address or school is within Canal's boundaries, please visit: League Finder- Little League
2025 NEW REGULATIONS!
Starting in 2025, players league age 4-7 can play in any league of their family's choice!
LEAGUE CHOICE: Players league age seven (7) and under may register in any Little League program without respect to any geography-related eligibility or school enrollment eligibility requirements.
NOTE: Players registering under this option are fully eligible to participate in all aspects of league play, including International Tournament play, for the duration of their Little League careers provided they have continuous and unbroken participation within the specific league where initially registered and provided all other participation eligibility requirements have been met.
For more information, please visit: Little League - 2025 Regulation

Next, what division your player is eligible to play in is determined by Little League, called "League Age." This can be confusing, but rest easy knowing that our registration software automatically recognizes what division your player is eligible for and will offer that to you when you go to register. For more information on our divisions, click here. If you are still curious to what your players "League Age" is, please refer to the age charts below.

Registration Costs
There are three costs associated with registration. Below is a breakdown of those costs.
The first is the registration cost, which varies depending on what division your player is eligible to play.
The second is a mandatory fundraiser. The fundraiser is by player and not by account, and they are in the form of five (5) discount cards. The cost is $50. You can opt-out of the mandatory fundraiser, however the cost to do so is $40. If you choose the Discount Cards, you can sell them at $10 a card to receive your money back. Discount Cards are available for pick up during Document Checks and try-outs.
Lastly, there is a Work Bond of $150 due for every family. What is a Work Bond? Every family is required to work six (6) volunteer hours at the complex over the course of the Spring season, with at least three (3) of those hours MUST being completed in concessions. After you complete your six (6) hours of volunteering, you will have your $150 Work Bond RETURNED.
Our league is 100% Volunteer! To ensure our league runs smoothly and our concessions are open for each game, we ask for your volunteer time. Don't let the additional cost stop you from being in the best league around!
Note - there is a $25 late fee per family if you register after March 15, 2025.
Important Reminders
Please be aware that all three (3) Registration Costs must be completed and paid online before your player is eligible to try-out (if necessary) and/or be placed on a roster. If you desire to pay cash, you can do so at one of the Document Checks.
